You want to create your own template because you are using different labels or a different paper size?
No problem ! We will show you how to do it. Please remember to register your product as only then you will be able to use this function in Kronen-Design.
Before you create a template you should design it. Define what kind of shape (circles, rectangulars etc.) the objects should have and what the distance of the objects is from the left side of the paper (= X-value) and the top of the paper ( = Y-value).
Here you can see an example (it is a jpg-file). Maybe you print it out for better understanding.
We will use this example to show you how to create a template with a circle and a rectangular on it.
Please start the Kronen-Design Program and select the DIN-A4 template so that a blank page is shown on the screen. Now select from the FILE Menu the TEMPLATES command.
On the left side you see the empty page and on the right side you will now generate the new template.

If you wish to have another paper size than DIN-A4 please click on the button SIZE and enter the size of the paper.
When you need a landscape printing please activate the Landscape function.
To start creating a new template now click on the button NEW (see on above picture) and enter on top in the field NAME CHANGE a new name for the template.
In our example we named it “New TEST Template”.

Then you click the button EDIT and now you can start creating the first object.
Click NEW and then choose Ellipse as the object. Under width and height you enter the dimension of the circle. In this case the diameter is 6cm so both entries are 6cm as it is a circle.
Now you enter the distance from the left side of the paper up to the beginning of the object (in our example 3cm) as the X-value. Then you enter the distance from the top of the paper up to the beginning of the object (in our example 2 cm). You will see the object of the circle appear on the left side in the selected region (Y-value).
The first object has been created and now we create a rectangle.
Click again on NEW and then choose RECTANGLE. Enter the width and height of it and the distance from the left side (X-value) and from the top (Y-value) up to the beginning of the object.
In addition to the circle you will now also see the rectangle on the left side in the correct place.
Of course you can now create other forms and so on but for this excercise we will stop here. After everything is complete you click on the OK button.
When you start Kronen-Design now you will see your newly created template (in our example New TEST Template) on the bottom of the available template list. Click on it and the template starts and can be used in the same way as other templates can be used.
In order to use this function you have to register Kronen-Design. This you can do here.
